Turmeric on Dog Warts

Daisy, my Cocker, has warts in a couple of places. She is old (15 years), blind and somewhat deaf. The warts tend to bleed because she has one on the top of her head and bumps into things.

What I have found that stops the bleeding, and may reduce the size somewhat, is by making a paste out of turmeric and putting it on the wart. I've been cleaning it first with isopropyl alcohol.

Unfortunately the vets say she is too old to have the warts surgically removed as she may not survive the anesthesia.

I've also seen ads for silver nitrate applicators on Amazon that claim to work on them, but they are quite expensive and may not work any better than my method.
