Common Uses in Dogs

The seed of this plant contains a high amount of essential fatty acids, which are important for the healthy development and maintenance of the brain, liver, heart, and immune system.

Fatty acids are also essential for the improvement and maintenance of healthy skin, coat and nails of our dogs. However, many animals do not get enough fatty acids in their daily diet and, as a result, develop chronic diseases which can easily be prevented by adding flaxseed to the animal's diet as a daily supplement.

The simplest way to feed the seeds to our dogs is to purchase a natural pet product that contains stabilized flaxseed treated with zinc and Vitamin B6, and followed the recommended dosage as instructed by the manufacturer.
