Smile Kansas! Kodi is here to stay
My husband and I were looking in the local dog shelters since 2001 looking for a dog that would be great with cats because we have two.
One day in 2002 while my husband was at work in a popular retail store, a crowd of people were waiting to be let in as soon as the store opened. When it did this little 3-month-old brown, black and white dog strolled in with the crowd like he was shopping for goods. Nobody seemed to even notice the dog but my husband and another co-worker. The funny thing was as soon as he saw my husband looking at him, he ran and jumped on him.
My husband is one of the biggest dog lovers. After he noticed that this cute dog didn’t have a tag and didn’t belong to any one, home this loveable little dog went. He put up notices around work to see if someone would claim him. But nobody ever did.
We named him Kodi. Kodi is the craziest and most fun-loving dog I ever had. At first he didn’t like our cats Poco and Kansas but they became the best of friends. It was meant to be. :o)
