Eco-friendly Wee Wee PadsOrdinary wee wee pads take a long time to degrade - if you want to be a "green" dog owner, switch to eco-friendly pads!
If you are house-training your puppy, or if you have to leave your dog home alone most of the time during the day, you have to give your dog a place to go and relieve himself. A "dog toilet", if you may. It is definitely not good to ask your dog to "hold it" until you return home, as that would lead to health problems down the road, such as urinary tract infections.
Most people spread newspaper or put a wee pad in a pee pad tray. The problem with newspaper and most pee pads is they are not so durable - very easy to be chewed up
by the dogs when they are left alone, probably to relieve their frustration and anxiety.
The pads are also environmentally-unfriendly. Just like disposable diapers, it takes a long time for them to degrade. So imagine all those pads piling up in land-fills ...
it is definitely not the "green" way to raise our dogs!
So, what's the alternative?Lucky for those dog parents who use wee pads - now there is an eco-friendly wee pad that is 100% biodegradable!
