Summer is definitely here! If you live in a place where ticks are plentiful, your dog is likely to pick up quite a few of these blood-sucking parasites especially if your dog likes to spend time in long grass or wooded areas.
I have found a simple product that seems handy and useful to remove ticks from our pets - the Tick Key! Here's how it works - Just place the key's teardrop hole over the tick, slide the insect into the tapered slot, and pull the key away from the skin. The tick comes out with it, head and all.
I haven't tried it out because it is not available where I live. If you live in North America, you can get it from Amazon.com.
