The Cancer came back

My Maggie was diagnoised with Thyroid Cancer 2 years ago. We had surgery, radiation and Chemo. This gave her two more wonderful years to chase her ball.

Well today her chest X-rays showed the cancer spread to her lungs - she has 3 small tumors. I will not push for aggressive treatment. She will take 2 pills a day and enjoy her last months with us.

Hi Dianna,
I am very sorry to hear that Maggie's cancer has returned as she has been through so much in the past that this is not fair to her. I know that everyday is a gift and we all need accept that gift with THANKS, as I am sure that you do!

My friend and companion, Zoe, was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer recently. We chose Radiation as a first choice due to the nature of the tumor.

Can you please inform me as to the type of pills Maggie is taking since the cancer is back as well? How did you notice that the cancer was back or what made you take her for a chest x-ray?

I ask these questions as a way of learning about the process of thyroid cancer in our dear friends.

Maggie is such a lucky dog to have such a wonderful parent who loves her so much to give her such quality of life. And I'm sure Maggie thanks you in so many ways for allowing her to have all her loving years with someone like you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and Maggie at this time.
