My Sweet Boy Fighting Nasal Carcinoma

my sweet boy
My elevenish year old sweet boy, Keith Moon-Doggy was diagnosed as having nasal carcinoma early December 2010. (I don't know his exact age because we found each other in 2000...)
The symptom that concerned me and made me take him to the vet was small amounts of blood that would drip out of his right nostril. This I noticed mid-October 2010. Looking back I realize the symptoms started way before. The major symptom that I would have acted upon if I had thought it possibly could be cancer was snoring. I would say he began snoring late 2009, early 2010. I just thought it was a characteristic he developed as he was becoming a senior.
Moon came into my life under a full moon in August 2000. I found him wandering a street just off a busy freeway in Los Angeles. His charm and zen-like disposition hooked me instantly and rather than find him a home, he became my second child. He has always had a strong constitution, always ate a raw or grain free diet and he has always been healthy. Even now during this fight his overall body is healthy. If there is anything I would do differently it would be supplementing his diet with immune supporting and strengthening herbs & supplements. Help his body fight potential attacks as he aged.
After his initial diagnosis via rhinoscopy and CT scan he had much more bleeding but I was able to get it under control with Yunan Baiyao. I only give it to him as needed. The yunan worked and works great. He has gotten to the point where the bleeds are very small and often not completely blood. More blood mixed with clear mucus drip and literally a drop or two at a time.
I decided against putting him through radiation as I want him to have the best quality of life possible and since he can still enjoy hiking and walks on the beach I wanted to make sure I could give him those as often as possible. He is currently on Artemisinin, 200mg twice a day. I am considering changing to Artemix as I have been told it might be more potent. With the Artemisinin I give him a fish oil capsule and a curcumin capsule. I also give him Transfer Factor Plus, a tea formula similar to Essiacs that I brew from Flor*Essence dry herbs, a formula that was recommended by a naturapath. I would like to be able to get some chinese herbs into him that are specific for cancer and tumors but he won't eat his food with "stuff" in it. In fact he doesn't finish his meals anymore which is unheard of for him... I also have him on a grain free or low grain low carbohydrate diet. It's more difficult these days to get him to eat so I give him what he likes but try to stay away from anything that can turn to sugar and feed cancer.
Im always researching and reading hoping to come across someone whose dog went through nasal carcinoma, was treated naturally and has beat the cancer... this is what I hope for Moon... that we can set an example to others that you can beat this... I will let you know.
In the meantime, I pray for his body to heal and be free of disease and cancer.
Blessings to everyone whose furry friend family member is challenged with cancer or illness...
