My Sunni was Diagnosed with Bladder Cancer

Last August 2009 my girl was diagnosed with bladder cancer. The vet told us that even with surgery there wasn't much to be done to save her. Since she is already 14 yrs old now, I resolved to keep her as happy and comfortable as I could do. I tried to prepare myself and be vigilant
for when she starts to show signs of suffering. I don't want her to die like that.

Recently, Sunni has been urinating in the house which she has never, ever done - even when she was a puppy, she always preferred to go outside on her own. She does pee outside and afterwards seems to strain to do more. The last two days she hasn't really eaten. I tried to coax her to eat some soft gravy dog food mixed with her hard food. She ate it, then next morning threw it up.

Someone please help me to know what stage she is in. What to do. I don't want to put her down before she's ready, but I don't want her to suffer either.
