We got her when she was just 8 weeks old. There were 5 puppies and all of them were playing except for her and she was sitting at the fence looking at us, like are you going to take me. Of course we took her. Who could turn down that face. We have had her almost 14 years now and she was just diagnosed with a liver tumor that had spread to her spleen. We don't have much time with her now but we still have the love and all the memories. To Monet we love you baby girl.

We are SO sorry to hear of Monet's passing. What a beautiful tribute you have given your precious baby. Our hearts break for you and you will continue to remain in our prayers. Time does ease the pain but the memories can never be taken away.

Monet passed away Thanksgiving morning at 3 a.m. She got really sick and we took her to the emergency room. We laid on the floor with her and I told her about the Rainbow bridge and that she would be going there and she would not hurt any more. I told her that there would be other dogs to play with but to leave the cats alone. I told her not to worry we would not forget her and that we would come get her one day. It was at that moment she died in my lap. I held her for another half hour, I got to stroke her face and her eyelashes. She had the prettiest white eyelashes. It has been 2 weeks now, I feel like I need to go find her, I feel she is lost and needs me to be with her. I miss her so much, I hope one day the aching stops and I hope she has found her way to the Bridge. To my sweet Monet, I send this out to you with love. Always your mama.

Monet has brought you much joy and love and those memories are what will get you through this. She will be with St Francis of Assisi and all her cousins that have gone before her. She will rest in peace because she had a good loving home and a good life. You will love and remember all the fun and laughter and joy and love that she brought into your life.
