I have a Shih Tzu that is 10 yrs old. About one year ago he developed this horrible horrible odor in his mouth with dreen drool. We have tried all kinds of meds and nothing has helped. It is somewhat difficult for him to eat. I am asking if anyone has had this problem or know of anyone that has. I am thinking about putting him to sleep b/c I can't even let him in the house anymore. Please if anyone can help me let me know.

Hi,

Have you got a proper diagnosis from the vet as to the exact cause of the odor? If so, what is the cause? It is difficult to fix the problem if we don't know the reason.
