Maya's Battle Against Lung Cancer

Maya is my beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback X who just showed a lung tumor on an x-ray we just had done.
She just started to cough a month ago, but with no other signs that anything was wrong. We took her to our vet, who listened to her heart and lungs, and did not hear anything abnormal. So I decided to put her on immune boosters in case it was a low grade infection, with no change.
When we decided to take her back to the vet, I chose to have x-rays done, to get a better look. To both the vet and my surprise, there was this tumor.
She recently had a blood panel done, with everything almost perfect. What an elusive cancer!
I hope to find more people going through this battle to give us some hope and support.
