Magnus Just Shy of 4 yrs in Remission

Hello,
My black lab, Magnus, was diagnosed with Lymphoma when we was seven years old.
He did the University of Madison protocol and had good results. After finishing the protocol, he went 5 months in remission with no relapse. When he relapsed we did a second protocol. When he finished that protocol we went into a maintenance program - same protocol but the treatments were spaced out every 4 weeks and after a year I went to five weeks. He became resistant to the drugs just two months shy of his 4 year anniversary of being diagnosed and that's where we are today.
Magnus is an amazing dog and had amazing results. We gave Magnus lots of love and only fed him organic food. We've been blessed with being able to have Magnus in our lives as long as we have.
Granted, the poor guy endured a lot. His legs got beat up with all the needles and the last two years he couldn't play too hard or he just would vomit. We knew the minute he would lick his paw playtime was over.
We made sure Magnus had a good life filled with lots of fun and love because he was such a good dog. The Vets and technicians were amazing too.
I wish all the dogs diagnosed with Lymphoma to have as much success as Magnus did.
