Sorry to hear about your dog
by: Darren

I have just had to have my dog put to sleep because of this. I know it will not help your cause or make you feel better, but after reading a lot of articles, the type my dog had was fixed and large and would have maybe only given her a few months extra, and we would have had to make the desicion again. I knew deep down what it was and the time leading up to her passing I smothered her with love, wich made me feel a lot better in myself, but keep feeling guilty.

Lymphoma in Dog
by: Hazel

Hi, Ann,

I am sorry to hear that your dog has lymphoma. What did the vet say about chemo? Is he optimistic? Is there a good chance that your dog will feel better and enjoy a reasonably good quality of life after the treatment?

If you do decide to go ahead with chemotherapy, remember to put your dog on a high protein raw food diet, and give him a supplement called "Genesis Resources Canine CAS Options" (Follow this link Dog Cancer Diet and scroll down to the middle of the page.) This supplement has helped a lot of dogs with cancer.

Good luck, and please keep us informed of your decision.
