Cooper diagnosed with liver cancer

Cooper is our 12 year old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and he was just diagnosed with liver cancer.
Cooper is jaundiced and his urine is dark yellow and he was vomiting then would not eat for 6 days.
It was the saddest day of our lives, we cried all day after taking him home from the vet. The vet wanted to do exploratory surgery, or put him down. We could not bear it, so decided to take care of him at home.
Essiac tea with milk thistle is highly recommend as I researched other similar stories of late stage liver cancer in dogs. I picked some up from an herbalist who has been brewing it for 14 years and has had good results in dogs and humans. I started him on it yesterday two tablespoons three times a day along with anti-vomit medication given by the vet.
I added the tea to his drinking water and keep him drinking water every two hours or so by putting the bowl in front of his nose.
I baked some boneless chicken thighs with white rice and onions, and lemon pepper and the aroma was filling the house and he actually for the first time in 6 days ate four bite size pieces last night!
I wish I would have know earlier so I could have put him on this tea before now.
He has gotten up twice today to urinate outside, he is weak and wobbly. His first urine stream was dark yellow his second was much lighter yellow.
I pray that God would heal him and that this tea will work.
I will keep you posted, thanks and my heart goes out to all of you dealing with the same excruciating pain as we are watching our beloved Cooper suffer.
Blessings to all of you : )
