Big Boy

Graduation Day - Class Of 2009

Big Boy, originally "Pablo", was on his way to doggie heaven when I got him. His owner was under the impression when she purchased him that he was teacup. This was the ideal dog for her because she had a toddler at home and she lives in a condo.

After a few months the dog started to grow and became highly active which made the baby afraid. So, it was either the baby or the dog. The baby won.

My sister was trying to save his little life, and knowing how I feel about dogs she called me.

I had never seen him but I knew I had to have this dog! But first, I would have to convince my husband who has always been against having any pets that he would not be a problem. Needless to say, he gave in and now a home for Pablo.

Big Boy is a highly intelligent pooch. He's a camera hog. He loves being in front of the camera and will strike a pose at the very sight of a camera.

Big Boy has recently completed Beginning Obedience Training, and I am so proud of him. He gives a mean high five!

Being the proud Pet Parent that I am and since he's such a ham and loves being dressed up, what better choice of attire for graduation than a Tux, right?

So, that's a brief story of the life of Big Boy, my boy.

By the way, he's still very active and loves to be chased around the house or the backyard.
